Writing this story has been quite a journey for me. When I first had theidea, I never expected it to be much more than a short story, but as thefirst chapters blossomed, as Alexis and Nick's personalities began to takeover and occasionally even force changes to the direction of thestoryline, I was amazed at how it grew. I'd always planned to doNaNoWriMo one day, despite how daunting the 50,000 words in a monthsounded - with the word count of this story (written in 22 days total)standing at over 65,000, the sense of achievement at not only writing thatmuch, but writing something that people have taken the time comment on howmuch they enjoyed... well, I can't even begin to describe it.Once again, I can't begin to thank enough those of you that have taken thetime to read every chapter of this story, especially for the kind commentsand reviews you have left for me - hopefully it won't be 7 years againbefore I make my next FM submission!Epilogue"Dad!
